Distance Plus Family

The DPXab is part of the Distance Plus-Family and serves to increase the range of analog subscriber lines. This allows the extension of analog interfaces via a 2-wire line. The possible distances depend mainly on the used cables and diameter. The DPXab suits well for VoIP equipment, which does normally not offer the capability for long-distance connection, as this was the case with legacy telephone equipment.

The DPXsu is part of the DistancePlus-Family and serves to increase the range of digital subscriber lines. This allows the extension of ISDN S0-interfaces via a 2-wire line. The possible distances depend mainly on the used cables and diameter.
